Evelina Viktorija Žemeikytė
I'm a lecturer, education specialist, columnist and genealogy enthusiast and also the founder of „Stiprios šaknys“ („Strong roots genealogy“). After I've been actively researching my own family history for quite some time, I've realised more and more people get interested in genealogy nowadays, but they often need help navigating all the resources and getting on the right track with their research, as it can be quite overwhelming. That's when I've offered my first lecture to my local community.
Now I offer online and onsite lectures to different groups and communities, organise educational programs for school students to get to know their ancestors, to learn about researching and respecting the past and the rich heritage that is coded in our history and blood. I also consult one-on-one.
You might also know me from some community social media groups, one of which is Senos nuotraukos. Genealogija that is dedicated to posting and searching for old photos.

This course was created after seeing that people all around the world who have Lithuanian ancestors are eager to learn about their history, but it is sometimes overwhelming to continue because of the language barrier, etc. I truly believe that this course will help with at least some of the difficulties you might face in your daily research.

Best wishes,
